My name is Mike, and I'm a poet and professional translator. I grew up in Heidelberg and Stuttgart, Germany, where my father was stationed in various postings with the U.S. Army. I hold a B.A. in Literary Studies from The New School and have also studied Germanistik at New York University and Translation Studies at the University of Heidelberg. I work as a German Clinical Translations Auditor at International SOS and live in Stuttgart, Germany.
